Project Description

The World Conference on Indigenous Peoples is a forum for indigenous groups to discuss how they can work with member states of the United Nations to implement the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Each delegate in this committee will represent a specific indigenous group from around the world, advocating for the specific issues that effect that group the most–from the environment to language extinction. This open agenda committee will work to pass a System Wide Action Plan for all UN bodies to improve indigenous communities for 2018.
